Article published in the latest edition of the Chilean Journal of Urology, warned about the high rates of antibiotic resistance in genital mycoplasmas that are occurring in Chile. The data correspond to a study on admission to SCHU presented by a group of urologists from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where it is noted that this new scenario could lead to change the empirical treatment schemes currently used.
